When you pay you will be supplied with an ATOL Certificate. This will cover everything you have booked (flights, hotels and other services) will be listed on it. Every company has their own approach, but we believe trust merits trust. That’s why we’re proud members of Protected Trust Services, (PTS).  The trust model means that the money you pay for your holiday is held in a trust account, which we don’t have access to directly and can only make a withdrawal once you’ve travelled.

To help you book with confidence, our no amendment fee policy means Sunny Heart will not charge you for making changes to your holiday, if Covid-19 alters your plans. We’ll also do our best to ensure this process is as smooth as possible for you. Please note, in addition to our free amendment service, some hotels, airlines and suppliers might have some extra charges.

Covid-19 travel restrictions at your chosen destination may include a requirement that you present a recently taken negative covid-19 test upon arrival. Sunny Heart has partnered with The Travel Visa Company to provide you with a free testing service that will make this process simple for you. We will support you in booking a private covid-19 test at a centre close to you, all within the time needed prior to departure. To provide you with additional peace of mind, this service includes a guarantee that your test results will arrive in time for your flight. Should we not be able to deliver on this promise and should your trip be compromised as a result, we guarantee a full refund of your holiday.

Passenger Locator Form

The government now requires all passengers to fill out a passenger locator form prior to their return to the UK. To learn more and access the form, visit https://www.gov.uk/provide-journey-contact-details-before-travel-uk

Our partnership with the Travel Visa Company allows us to offer you a service that simplifies the process, by allowing you to fill out your form in advance of your trip. They will submit the form for you within the required 48 hours prior to your return and save you the hassle of having to remember to do it. At the airport

All airports have introduced new measures to ensure your safety and reduce transmission. These include:

  • Cleaning travel areas with increased frequency
  • Ensuring social distancing regulations are in place by reducing access to airport terminals and suspending operation of some facilities
  • Introduction of hygiene stations throughout the airport
  • Some airports may provide temperature checks
  • Requirement for passengers to adhere to government guidance to reduce transmission by adhering to social distancing measures, wearing masks at all times and frequent hand washing
  • Introduction of social-distancing measures at check-in,  security and boarding

On Board

New covid-19 safety measures have been introduced by all airlines to significantly reduce the risk of transmission aboard your flight. These include increased sanitation and cleaning of the flight as well as a requirement for all passengers and crew members to wear masks. On holiday

Your transfer upon arrival

Upon arrival at the airport, one of Sunny Heart Travel’s friendly representatives will guide you through a safe and efficient transfer to your hotel. They will be able to advise you on social distancing regulations, mask wearing and any other protocols you should be aware of prior to your transfer.

Your hotel

Your hotel will have introduced new safety measures in accordance with local government guidelines in order to ensure your safety. These measures may include increased regularity of cleaning operations, a requirement to wear face coverings and limiting access to certain areas of the hotel where social-distancing measures cannot be implemented.

To ensure social distancing measures are abided by, some facilities such as bars, gyms and restaurants may be running at reduced capacity, or in some cases closed. Visit your hotel website to learn more about how you will be kept safe during your stay.

In resort

Local restrictions and social distancing measures will vary depending on your destination. Sunny Hearts Travel’s representatives, as well hotel staff, will be able to advise you on what you need to be aware of. As a general rule of thumb, we recommend you always carry a face mask with you, keep a safe distance from others and wash your hands frequently.
