Senegal holidays also offer beautiful national parks to explore. The Delta du Saloum National Park, spread across 190,000 acres, forms part of a UNESCO World Heritage site and is mostly made up of water, although there is also forest, savannah and mangroves to enjoy. Here, bird enthusiasts will find species such as flamingos, terns, Eurasian spoonbills and many more besides, as they take advantage of the rich biodiversity on offer.
