There will be few holiday destinations that conjure up a greater feeling of luxury and paradise than awe-inspiring Aruba – and we’re certainly not in a position to prove otherwise.

The island nation, nestled in the Caribbean Sea, is simply stunning. Postcard-perfect, if the blissful beaches and serene sea wasn’t right in front of your eyes, you could easily be forgiven for thinking it a heavily manipulated and airbrushed poster.

But the paradise is real and Aruba holidays are waiting for you.

Obviously, we have to start with the beautiful beach holidays in Aruba. With all-inclusive resorts aplenty, rest and relaxation isn’t hard to find. The powder-fine, white beaches and tranquil turquoise seas are a given, so all that’s left for you to do is source a cocktail, slap on some sunscreen and pick your spot to kick-back for the day. We think you’re up to the challenge!

Eagle Beach, on the north-west coast, is among the most spectacular in the whole of the Caribbean, while Boca Catalina is a great beach for snorkelling and exploring the shipwrecked German boat, the Antilla, the largest wreck in the South Caribbean.

For family holidays in Aruba, Surfside Beach is a great spot for a day. Not only does it boast Splash Park Aruba which the kids will love, it’s also right next to the airport, so the kids can watch the planes coming over all day – and they get pretty low!

Kids will also love Aruba Ostrich Farm on the north-east coast of the island and close to Bushiribana Ruins, another popular attraction for visitors.

Aruba’s capital, Oranjestad, is not only great for shopping and eating, but also showcases the island’s Dutch heritage. Many Dutch colonial buildings can be seen in Plaza Daniel Leo. Just outside of Oranjestad, Hooiberg is a popular spot for hikers looking for spectacular views across the region. On a clear day, you can even see as far as Venezuela.
