Costa Blanca Holidays

An Overview

Covering more than 200 kilometres of spectacular Spanish coastline, the Costa Blanca is home to many of the country’s most popular tourist resorts. Simply put, Costa Blanca holidays will have you spoiled for choice when it comes to beautiful beaches, lively nightlife and fun-fill activities.

Capturing the likes of Alicante, Benidorm, Elche and Torrevieja, there’s a wealth of sights and sandy stretches to explore, so it’s little wonder so many people book holidays in the Costa Blanca year after year.

Whether you’re looking for a full-blown, all-inclusive beach break, a fun family escape or even something a little more cultural – or a bit of everything – the Costa Blanca will deliver.

Where to go & What to see

Benidorm and Alicante are the obvious places to start if you’re looking to combine excellent beaches by day with lively bars and clubs by night. The Marina is Alicante’s main after-dark area while in Benidorm there are more places to drink and dance than you can shake a ‘kiss me quick’ hat at.

Benidorm also has some great attractions for family holidays in the Costa Blanca. Terra Mitica theme park and Aqualandia waterpark will keep kids – both little and big varieties – busy all day.

For something a little more cultural, the Castillo de Santa Barbara, surveys Alicante from the top of Mount Benacantil. The 9th century castle is remarkably well preserved and is one of the best things to do in the Costa Brava if you’re keen on historical sites.

With 200 kilometres at their disposal, Costa Brava holidays can also balance the lively, touristy cities with quaint, traditional towns. Denia boasts a picturesque, 12th century waterfront castle, which is home to a number of historic artefacts.

Further south along the coast, nature lovers should take time to visit Les Salines in Calp. The former salt flats are now a nature reserve, following extensive flooding and welcomes hundreds of vibrant flamingos to its saltwater pools. Calp Old Town is also the place to tuck into an authentic, traditional paella – invented just along the coast in Valencia.
