Beach holidays in Krabi are among the best, most picture-perfect on the planet. Each individual stretch of pristine sand, lapped by emerald waters, is so spectacular, it’s impossible to rank them in any sort of order.
From the dreamy Ao Nang Beach which is well-served by plenty of nearby restaurants, bars and shops, to the more secluded Pai Plong Beach, accessed by a forest trail, and Railay Beach which is nothing short of paradise, you really can’t go wrong.
And if ever the temptation strikes to explore beyond Krabi, there are regular boat trips across to the Phi Phi Islands, where there are yet more idyllic beaches to enjoy.
But crazy as it sounds, Krabi holidays aren’t solely about chilling on the beach. Head inland to explore the stunning Wat Tham Suea (Tiger Cave Temple). It’s a bit of a climb to reach the summit, but once there, the sacred Buddhist temple is certainly worth the effort.
More culture can be experienced after dark at the Ao Nang Night Market. Like other markets across Thailand, Ao Nang’s offering will allow you to practice your haggling skills, meet some locals and sample some of the sumptuous Thai cuisine, in authentic street market style.
Those looking to combine an active adventure with breath-taking views need look no further than Railay View Point. Not far from Railay Beach, the hike along the trail can be challenging at points, but the panoramic views from the top won’t leave you with any regrets. Nearby, Princess Lagoon, Phra Nang Caves and Bat Cave are also worth exploring.
With pristine beaches, mouth watering food and a lively nightlife, we’re spoiling you
