The 13th century Kasbah is another spot for culture vultures to explore, along with the Musee des Religions and, just south of central Hammamet, the ancient Roman archaeological site in Pupput.
Keen golfers can unleash their inner Tiger Woods at the highly-regarded Citrus Golf Course and for some more family-friendly time, Carthage Land theme park is a must during family holidays in Hammamet, along with Aquapark Flipper, Funwater Hammamet and Hammamet Pirate Ship for family entertainment.
Hammamet Beach is perfect whether you’re looking for a quiet corner to relax with a good book, cocktail in hand and catch some rays, or whether you’re after more active pursuits like partaking in a friendly game of beach volleyball, or heading out on a jet-ski or in a canoe.
